OH - IO

Ahh, Christmas has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Between all the food, presents, ducks, food, skunks, food, possum, and food...I could barely catch my breath.

I could have used another day off to hang with the family, but..back to work we go.

Very excited to wear my present from Aunt Beth today though. Getting ready for the big game - go Bucks.

Word on the street is that my office is becoming 'quite the destination' for visitors. Why, Buckeye, you ask? Well...what they are saying is that because I am so cute and well-behaved, people just want to stop by and share the joy!!

Let's get ready to rumble

Max, the 2 year old chocolate lab that has the office down the hall from me, has met his match. I spent the majority of the afternoon yesterday showing him whose the boss. That's right. I let him think that he was winning, but oh no...I got out of every choke-hold, every almost 'dominence' move (that made my mom freak out), every break...

It was fun. Maybe I'll let him win tomorrow. It is the season of giving.

Oh, Deer

Deers - my favorite thing!

Yes, as if going outside for bit of air isn't exciting enough - there they were...waiting for me. Three of the biggest deer I have ever seen close up. Staring at me...

I tried talking to them - but they didn't move. And my mom just stood there, laughing. Nothing I was saying was funny. After trying to break loose from my leash for several minutes, I decided to pretend like I didn't care. It almost worked.

As we got closer they ran away. Maybe they'll be back tomorrow. Or maybe, they will venture into the office...

Just a day in the life

WELCOME TO MY FIRST BLOG!

Per the advise of some people around the office, I thought I would make the best use of my time to start a blog to update my friends and family of how I spend my days.

Most will be short, I am very sleepy here...but I will do my best to keep my fans abreast of all the happenings in the world of Bubbas.

It's been a ruf (get it, ruf) couple of weeks in the office.

Let's recap:

• It's my first job...that alone is enough to handle...
  


• I've had to abide by the dress code (tshirts and scarfs and bandanas...oh my)


• My dear friend Coleman Slawski (aka the fish on Lissa's desk) committed suicide early this week. I think he couldn't handle the share of attention.
  


• My napping schedule has been completely disrupted

But, I do enjoy all the snacks and treats and petting that goes on here. I think I am the office favorite. There has been no official confirmation, but my mom tells me I am.

With Christmas right around the corner, I just hope I have enough energy to make it through the holiday.
