Ruff week

This week is killing me. So much to do, so little time. It's been all meeting, meeting, meeting...presentation, presentation, presentation...blah, blah, blah.

Anyways, thought you would enjoy this.

Until next time,

Everybody's working for the weekend

Like most people (and by this, I mean my mom and the dad), weekends lately tend to be jam-packed full of all kinds of stuff. Movies, dinners, bike rides, runs, drinks, shows, concerts, family outings...the list goes on. And lately, it's been going on...and on...and on...

So - I had a talk with my parents and we've decided to take this weekend off. We are going to relax, re-charge the batteries, and focus on spending some QT with each other and doing all the little things we've been neglecting lately.

However, in honor of doing all the fun things we normally do (because, you all know, one weekend like this will drive my parents crazy...and we won't get another till November), I have to share this pic of my dad. He rock climbed for the first time last weekend.

It's been a summer of firsts, especially for me. Tail wags to you Trent!

Cousin Biji

I've heard some people say that we neglect those in our life that mean the most to us. To that affect, I'd like to tell you all about my wonderful cousin, her name is Biji.

Biji and I vacationed together last week. We decided it had been far too long since we spent some QT together - so, we said, you know what? There's never going to be a good time...let's just get away for a little bit...so we did. We checked into the Hajoway B&B for some much needed R&R. We napped, we some great dinners, we sunbathed, we got some new toys...it was fantastic.

It's times like this that make me realize how lucky I am to have such a doggone awesome cousin.

Biji - I love ya girl! Can't wait for the next weekend a way! Tail wags!!

If I liked babies

How to properly hug a baby; a visual guide:
ATT00894.jpg If you think you've spotted a baby, verify by employing classic sniffing techniques. Baby powder is a dead giveaway.
ATT00897.jpg Flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process.
ATT00900.jpg Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.
ATT00903.jpg If a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented hug, smile, and lean in order to achieve the best photo quality.

Lights...Camera...

While I don't have any pictures to share with you YET...I can tell you that my photo shoot went FANTASTIC!! (For those of you that don't know, I was asked to have my photo taken for the back of the new business cards at work:) I gathered quite the crowd during the shoot itself, as well as the photo review (my mom saw them). I'm not one to brag...but, word around the office is my pics were the best.

As IF there were any doubts about that one...

God Bless America

The first day back after a long vacation is always ruff. Paperwork piled up, emails to answer, messages to listen to...you hear me. But, if you play, you pay...and I'm no different.

I did receive one interesting message I would like to share with you: apparently...I'm running for president. America, you're smarter than you look! I'm something like a phenomenon.

No time to chat

Very busy day at the office, but...I did have to share this picture of my step-cousin Mugsy. (I would have posted a picture of myself, but, my people didn't take me down to the river for the 4th. Not that I'm upset or anything....)

Another Joke

You know, I've seen this a lot lately, and while I agree with it to a CERTAIN extent, c'mon people...I got more to me than just enthusiasm and wagging tail. MANY, MANY layers to the Buck.

How many dogs does it take to change a light bulb?
1. Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

2. Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

3. Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

4. Rottweiler: Make me.

5. Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark.

6. Lab: Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please, please!

7. German Shepherd: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.

8. Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

9. Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb!

10. Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.

11. Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb. Or "We don't need no stinking light bulb."

12. Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?

13. Australian Cattle Dog:First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle...

14. Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

Bright lights, big city

They say every dog has his day...and...although I like to think that I haven't had mine, this is pretty close.

Every dog dreams of the day that his name is name is in BIG LETTERS, with lights, on the marquee....ME! Well, my friends, that day has arrived.

What's better than a picture of me? A 50 FOOT PICTURE OF ME. Please enjoy the photo below - THAT'S ME!! IN TIMES SQUARE?
